The Music Room Continues its Annual Black Friday Tradition to Close and Celebrate the Power of Music
Pre-owned HiFi audio online retailer The Music Room will once again close its website, three demo rooms, and headquarters on Black Friday and instead urge everyone to spend the time listening to music. Since 2010, TMR has been in line with their purpose of Connecting People to the Power of Music and has invited everyone to do exactly that on the busiest shopping day of the year. They are encouraging their employees, customers, and any music lover out there to stop chasing deals and spend time with family and friends while listening to music.
“Connecting to the power of music runs through everything that we do here and permeates our culture,” says Joshua Jackson, CEO and founder of TMR. “It’s what initially attracts a lot of our employees and is something that gives meaning to what we are doing every day.”
To support their purpose further, TMR is a regular supporter of charitable works revolving around musical education, such as Youth on Record. “Another way we want to connect people to the power of music, and something that we like to do as a business is find ways to give back to artists that are actually creating the music,” says Joshua. “Bringing it back full circle to support artists and creators is something I’m personally passionate about.”
Every day, TMR employees connect our customers to incredible musical experiences, making them true experts in finding the best gear that fits their system. “There is so much amazing gear and a lot of amazing engineering that goes into these products. But the real action is when you’re sitting between those two speakers and you get goosebumps on your arms,” Joshua continues. “HiFi is all about bringing that real experience into your home that you can tap into that connects you with the musicians and their creativity and putting you as close to the music as possible as if it were being performed in front of you, which is kind of the ultimate pursuit.”
