The Gearhead: Quick - Someone Buy This System!

This will be brief, hopefully. I was just loading up The Music Room's website and scrolling down to the blog area you see here, and I think the clouds parted and a beam of sunlight shone on the "featured products" scroller just above the blog.
My goodness gracious what a system I was looking at -- an almost perfect collection of older and newish gear with synergy for days and days.
Take a look - from the left, we start with Olympica I from Sonus Faber, a Wenge pair with stands. Awesome - traditional audiophile design, that can use a bit of power to really get movin'. Intensely shaped front baffle for maximum imaging capability and minimal internal reflections and standing waves. Solid speakers.
Next is the classic and very stately Britannia B2 subwoofer from REL. These came out before John Hunter, formerly of Sumiko, bought the company in 2005. This and the B1 were two models that attracted the new ownership, because of their incredible performance and tasteful appearance. I can't think of a better mate for those Olympicas.
We'll need a source. The Holo May DAC KTE Level 3 may be one of the hottest trends in digital audio right now, but don't overlook its brother, the Spring 2 DAC. This one carries the same KTE 3 upgrades and is one sonic monster. It comes with a remote as well, and can serve as the preamplifier.
Lastly, a gorgeous Goldmund Mimesis 28 stereo amp, a perfect companion to those Olympicas. Its sound is strong and full bodied yet supporting an expansive soundstage. Paired with the shapely Sonus Fabers, this amp will produce that holographic field audiophiles crave, myself included.
