The round design of the Center Stage "LS" Series loudspeaker foot is purposeful and strategic. Its rounded bottom ensures precise alignment with the floor and the bottom of the loudspeaker, maintaining contact even as the foot's height is adjusted to achieve either a level orientation or a raked-rear configuration—a feat unattainable with traditional spikes.

At the core of this design is the massive height-adjustable spike comprising the entire lower ball structure. By rotating the ball clockwise, the loudspeaker is raised, while counterclockwise rotation lowers it, offering approximately 0.25 inches (mm) of adjustment range. The ingenious 3-to-1 turning ratio minimizes the torque required for adjustment, while a built-in safeguard prevents overextension and detachment of the internal mechanism under load.

During operation, the black outer shell effectively isolates vibration from passing upward through the foot, ensuring it is directed through predetermined channels within the foot structure, where it can be effectively minimized.
