Bassline Blue™ Line Array Connectors are the same quality and craftsmanship of our renowned standard BassLine Blue™ cables, but are designed to allow for neatly dressed connections between vertically stacked Line Arrays of Series S models. These are specially priced to keep the costs of Line Array ownership reasonable, while not skimping on performance. Still handmade from premium materials, like pure silver solder and our proven SpeakOn connectors, these put the finishing touches on the awe inspiring Serie S Line Arrays.
Connecting a Line Array
TOP QUALITY NEUTRIK SPEAKON JUMPERS
Bassline Blue Line Array Connectors are used to daisy-chain each of the subwoofers together in a Line Array. By using these connectors each Line Array stack only requires a single high level cable to be run from the amplifier to the bottom subwoofer. The Line Array Connectors will then feed the singnal from the bottom to the top units. A pair is required for each vertical level of the Line Array stack in a stereo configuration.

REL employ Swiss-made Neutrik SpeakOn connectors at the input to the REL sub bass system. In over 100,000 RELs in use the world over, this connector has proven itself reliable, neutral and a mechanically ideal connector for REL’s renowned High Level Input circuitry.
Natural Drawn Copper
QUALITY BORN FROM SYSTEM THINKING
Beyond optimizing the geometry of the internal lay of the cable, we also employ copper that exceeds industry practices and is of a quality and type generally specified for military use and high speed telecommunications. Bassline Blue is constructed of slow-drawn, high purity copper, drawn in a nitrogen bath to minimize impurities on the surface of the wire. Each individual conductor is coated in a Teflon film immediately upon leaving the extrusion die to ensure that impurities cannot impinge on the cable while awaiting further processing. This technique produces a sound that is exceptionally pure and natural which we term Natural DrawnTM wire. Bassline Blue is hand constructed at our California facility using cable produced exclusively to REL’s specification by a North American OEM wire and cable house.

In the real world, bass occurs with width, depth and height. By stacking up to three units per side (stereo or theatre main L-R speakers) the proper perspective and height of sonic events are illuminated. This elevates reproduction from conventional stereo or theatre to a floor-to-ceiling panoramic, full scale perspective of each sonic event.
