The KWA 300 represents more than twenty years of refinement in both solid-state and tube amplifier design.
ModWright's first amplifier, the KWA 150/150SE, received worldwide acclaim for combining the musicality and dimensionality often associated with tubes with the control, power, and resolution of solid-state design. At the heart of that amplifier, and every ModWright solid-state amplifier since, is the Solid State Music Stage (SSMS), originally developed by Alan Kimmel.
Over the years, every aspect of the design has been further refined:
greater power delivery, lower noise, increased precision, improved efficiency, and a more sophisticated overall aesthetic.
The result is the KWA 300 Reference Stereo Power Amplifier. A design created not simply to impress technically, but to reproduce music with effortless authority, natural flow, and emotional realism.
