The C 700 V2 BluOS Streaming Amplifier is crafted to provide instant access to music. Users can simply connect their speakers and utilize the intuitive BluOS Controller app on their smartphone, tablet, PC, or Mac to select their desired tracks. The resulting sound is exceptional.
Featuring a HybridDigital UcD output stage, the C 700 V2 delivers 2×80 watts of continuous power and 2×120 watts of instantaneous power, ensuring effortless reproduction of musical transients. Renowned for its ultra-low noise and distortion across the entire audioband, NAD’s efficient HybridDigital UcD amplifier design maintains performance regardless of the loudspeaker load. With an upgrade to the ESS Sabre ES9028 DAC, the V2 offers a refined listening experience with greater precision and depth, appealing to audiophiles and music enthusiasts alike.
The C 700 V2's elegant, minimalist design and premium materials engage multiple senses, not just hearing but also sight and touch. The amplifier is encased in solid aluminum, featuring a sleek front panel and a 5″ high-definition color screen that displays album art, track progress, and system settings.
Users can adjust amplifier settings via menus on the C 700 V2’s screen, using the control knob and navigation buttons on the front panel or the included BC1 IR remote control.
A Modern Classic
Equipped with built-in Ethernet and Wi-Fi, along with a network streamer based on the robust BluOS software platform, the C 700 V2 offers everything needed to play music through your favorite speakers. By using the BluOS Controller app, users can access music from numerous streaming and web radio services or play music stored on an external drive connected to the C 700 V2’s USB port. The V2 model introduces a Moving Magnet phono stage, enabling direct connection of a turntable without an external preamp.
As with all BluOS-enabled components, the C 700 V2 supports high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/192kHz and includes full MQA decoding and rendering capabilities. These features allow users to enjoy lossless and high-resolution audio from services like Amazon Music Ultra HD, Deezer, Qobuz, and Tidal.
The C 700 V2 supports Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect, enabling control of playback from the respective apps. Additionally, Apple AirPlay 2 support allows streaming music from Apple devices and iTunes libraries. Users can also utilize voice commands to control music playback through Amazon Alexa or Apple Siri voice control protocols.
NAD provides software tools for smart-home specialists to integrate the C 700 V2 into home-automation systems from Control4, Crestron, Elan, RTI, and others. This integration enables control of music playback as well as other home systems such as lighting, shades, HVAC, and security.
Well Connected
The C 700 V2 features a MM phono stage and stereo RCA analog inputs, along with coaxial and optical digital inputs, allowing connections to disc players, game consoles, media adapters, and other components. Additionally, it includes an HDMI-eARC port for connecting an HDTV with HDMI-ARC support, enabling volume adjustment using the TV’s remote control.
Beyond its loudspeaker outputs, the C 700 V2 is equipped with a subwoofer output jack. Through the BluOS app, users can configure low- and high-pass crossover settings for a seamless integration between the subwoofer and main speakers. The system also supports the addition of two extra BluOS speakers, creating a full 4.1-channel Dolby surround sound system. To maximize its Dolby surround-sound capability, the C 700 V2 supports optional room correction. By purchasing and activating a Dirac Live license and measuring room response with a calibrated microphone (sold separately), users can achieve perfectly tuned bass and enhanced clarity. The C 700 V2 can store up to five Dirac profiles, accommodating different sources, seating arrangements, and room conditions.
Moreover, the C 700 V2 includes two-way aptX HD Bluetooth, allowing for wireless headphone listening and audio streaming from any smart device.

There are numerous ways to enjoy the NAD C 700 V2 BluOS Streaming Amplifier. It can act as the central hub of a standalone music system or integrate into a BluOS whole-home music system with up to 63 additional zones, all while fully supporting high-resolution audio.
