Cosmetic Description: 7/10 Very good cosmetic condition with some minor visible cosmetic wear including the bottom corners of the front faceplate of one amplifier are slightly bent with some paint peeling. There are minor blemishes on the front panels and paint bubbling around the tubes of both amplifiers. This item shows some wear consistent with its age but is still presentable and sounds wonderful.

The essential circuit concept is an extrapolation of the famous Dynaco Mark III design which first popularized high quality, high power music reproduction. Notably simple, this circuit reflects a sophisticated directness which contributes to its remarkable listening ease. The sonic quality of tube amplifiers is largely determined by the output transformer, and it is here that Dynaco's patented designs have been supreme for two decades. The Mark VI uses a new output transformer developed especially for this circuit, so conservatively rated that it can handle twice rated power over most of the audible range, opening the door to the "tube sound" so avidly sought by perfectionists.
The design is strictly to professional needs: no-nonsense, rugged, rack-mountable, versatile. Recessed controls for the input level, bias adjustment, and 4-position range switch for the lighted meter; speaker fuse holder and power switch are on the front panel. The inputs on the rear apron are for both phono jack and XLR connectors, plus an additional phono jack input through a high pass filter. The output is via a barrier strip for all impedances, plus a phone jack for quick connections." - Dynaco
