Cosmetic Description: 7/10 Good cosmetic condition with some minor visible cosmetic wear including a couple of indentations around the edges of one speaker. One indentation is on the back left corner and the other is around the center of the top edge. The other speaker has a single significantly smaller indentation in the center the top edge, a scratch along the top surface, and a small nick in the bottom right corner. Both speakers have a few marks on the back surface. There is some oxidation on some of the screws. These do show a few blemishes but are attractive overall.

Other Notes: One speaker has a "Grand" sticker on the back and the other does not. Serial numbers illegible but the speakers sound well matched.

The Vienna Acoustics Haydns are beautiful to observe, sumptuously built and finished, and perform far better than their diminutive size would suggest. They marry an ability to get at the core of the music that they reproduce and avoid the “bass shy and treble harsh” stereotype of the “audiophile” mini monitor. While there are many options from which to choose at this price point, I would argue that the Haydn represents a “best buy” in the category. Buy some stands, and ensure that you have adequate amplification, and you will find that these are speakers with which you can live happily ever after."
