Product Highlights

Finish is Black

Wharfedale Evo 5.4 Floorstanding Speakers feature a frequency response of 42 Hz – 24 kHz (±3 dB), an extended frequency range down to 36 Hz (-6 dB), sensitivity of 90 dB, recommended amplifier power of 30–200W, and a nominal impedance of 4 Ohms (8 Ohms compatible). Built as a flagship 3-way floorstander, these speakers utilize dual 6.5-inch woven Kevlar woofers, a 2-inch soft dome midrange, and a 35 x 70 mm Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter. Wharfedale’s tri-directional Slot Loaded Profiled Port (SLPP) equalizes internal cabinet pressure to eliminate turbulence, while spot-braced cabinet walls prevent resonances for exceptionally transparent sound reproduction.

Reviews across the audiophile community praise the Evo 5.4 for its expansive soundstage, fast transient response, and disciplined low end. Listeners consistently highlight the AMT tweeter for producing airy, fatigue-free highs, paired with a smooth midrange that renders vocals with striking realism. Reviewers also commend the tri-directional porting, noting that it delivers deep, impactful bass without the boomy placement headaches common to large floorstanding designs.

Whether building a high-performance stereo setup or an immersive media room, these towers deliver an ideal balance of audiophile refinement, dynamic impact, and room-friendly setup. Bringing the Evo 5.4 into your audio system offers flagship-tier driver engineering and effortless sonic authority, transforming everyday listening into an extraordinary musical experience.
