Product Highlights

The VTV Stereo HYPEX NCx500OEM is a solid-state amplifier that delivers 380 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 700 watts into 4 ohms with 28 amperes of peak current. Serving as a high-current foundation for ambitious systems, it governs demanding speakers with relentless grip and vast dynamic headroom. Dual Hypex NCOREx NCx500 OEM modules pair with a robust Hypex SMPS1200 power supply to ensure unyielding energy delivery. A standout feature is the modular input buffer architecture, which accepts discrete op-amps from Sparkos Labs or Weiss to personalize tonal character. Balanced XLR inputs and heavy-duty speaker binding posts complete the signal path within a shielded aluminum enclosure.

Critical evaluations praise the amplifier for its vanishing noise floor, holographic imaging, and transparent acoustic presentation. Reviewers emphasize that rolling discrete buffer op-amps introduces rich midrange texture and warmth without masking fine resolution. While listeners note that the understated casework prioritizes utility over boutique luxury, they applaud its unflinching composure when driving difficult loudspeaker loads.

Integrating this amplifier into your signal chain establishes authoritative control and pristine fidelity across every genre. Its transparent output allows upstream source components to articulate subtle spatial nuances while preserving visceral low-end impact. For the dedicated audiophile, it delivers exceptional modern power alongside customizable sonic refinement.
