Vandersteen Sub Three Subwoofer

Vandersteen Sub Three Subwoofer: Featuring three 8-inch cast-aluminum basket cellulose-fiber woofers driven by a built-in 325-watt Class B linear balanced bridge amplifier, this high-performance active subwoofer delivers deep, articulate bass down to 20Hz. Designed to receive high-level signals directly from your power amplifier, it preserves absolute sonic continuity between your main speakers and the low frequencies. The rear panel incorporates an adjustable system Q contour control, allowing you to fine-tune the system damping from a tight 0.5 to a fuller 1.2 to perfectly complement your room acoustics and personal listening preferences.

User and critical reviews consistently praise the Sub Three for its extraordinary speed, musicality, and seamless integration with existing loudspeaker setups. Listeners note a shocking gain in overall midrange clarity, detail, and soundstage depth, as offloading low frequencies relieves stress from main speakers and upstream components. Reviewers highlight its ability to render distinct, tuneful bass notes without any wooliness or overhang, performing effortlessly during quiet late-night sessions as well as high-volume listening.

Adding this subwoofer to your audio rig unlocks the full emotional impact and foundational scale of your favorite music. By seamlessly bridging ultra-low frequencies with refined room-matching versatility, it transforms competent stereos into immersive, full-range acoustic experiences.
