Product Highlights

Only the 3m headphone cable has the threads for the threaded adapter.

The Ultrasone Edition 15 open-back headphones feature 40mm Gold Titanium Compound dynamic drivers, a 5Hz to 48kHz frequency response, a 40-ohm impedance, and 94dB sensitivity. Operating as a reference flagship for discerning listeners, this open-air design delivers remarkable speed and transparency across the audible spectrum. Patented S-LogicEX technology uses decentered driver positioning to generate an expansive, loudspeaker-like spatial soundstage. The hybrid diaphragms pair gold foil membranes with rigid titanium domes to ensure swift transients and articulate bass. Handcrafted American cherry wood earcups house the assembly alongside micro-perforated stainless steel covers and LEMO connectors.

Critical consensus earned this model a prestigious VGP award alongside enthusiastic accolades from international audio publications. Outlets like Major HiFi and The Absolute Sound praise its staggering micro-detail resolution, lifelike vocal intimacy, and remarkably controlled bass punch. Reviewers consistently highlight the effortless staging, noting that the airy presentation and plush Merino leather prevent listener fatigue.

Investing in headphones of this caliber brings the spatial scale of high-end loudspeakers to an intimate listening setup. By combining artisan woodwork with innovative driver geometry, they uncover delicate textures across complex recordings without introducing harshness. For the dedicated enthusiast, this reference model delivers a deeply engaging musical connection.
