Product Description:
All Series 8 audio cables are meticulously hand-assembled in Orlando, Florida, ensuring exceptional quality. The Series 8 Mark II Single-Ended RCA audio cables start with extremely high-grade linear crystal copper (LC-OFC), specifically developed for audio applications. Tributaries' LC-OFC is carefully drawn to produce a low crystal volume per foot, which minimizes signal loss and distortion. The conductors consist of multiple solid gauges, selected for their ability to support low, mid, and high frequencies, resulting in a natural, balanced sound. Each conductor is individually insulated to eliminate strand interaction and enhance sound quality.
The Series 8 cables utilize a precision-twisted Twin-Axial design, ideal for unbalanced analog audio systems. This design features dedicated conductors for the positive signal and negative return, with a heavy shield connected only at the source end. This configuration allows the shield to capture any induced interference and ground it at the source end, thereby isolating noise away from the input stage and ensuring a clear signal transfer with optimal noise rejection.
The Mark II cables are silver-soldered onto proprietary RCA connectors with Tellurium (TE) copper contacts, which improve conductivity and durability. The result is a dead-quiet, neutral-sounding cable that accurately reproduces the sound of live music.
The Series 8 Mark II Single-Ended audio cable is available in pairs and mono configurations, with lengths ranging from ½ meter to 4 meters, and custom lengths can be accommodated upon request.
