Product Description:
All Series 8 audio cables are meticulously assembled by hand in Orlando, Florida. Series 8 MKII 3-POLE Power cables are crafted with extremely high-grade linear crystal copper (LC-OFC) developed specifically for audio applications. Designed to support low-frequency 50/60Hz signals, these power cables address a critical concern: current capability. Power amplifiers often draw current in pulses, and an inadequately sized power cable can introduce excess resistance, restricting the amplifier's peak performance and limiting transient response. Conversely, using only large conductors can lead to a loss of dynamics and sluggish transient response.
To strike the perfect balance, Series 8 power cables utilize a unique combination of individually insulated large and medium gauge wires, creating an overall 12 AWG design that supports both current flow and signal dynamics. The Mark II cables are silver-soldered to Tellurium (TE) copper termination pins, which perfectly mate with the new Tributaries power connectors, maximizing contact area for optimal signal transfer.
Noise rejection is a key feature of the Series 8 design. The 8P cables employ alternating twisted lays in each multi-gauge conductor to cancel all levels of magnetic distortion. Triple shielding further ensures that outside noise is kept at bay, allowing for an uninterrupted signal. The result is a power cable that lowers the noise floor without sacrificing audio dynamics, delivering more of the recorded audio and video for a crystal-clear, dynamic experience.
The Series 8 Mark II 3-POLE Power cable is available in lengths of 3 feet, 6 feet, and 9 feet, with custom lengths also available.
