Product Description:
All Series 8 phono cables are meticulously hand-assembled in Orlando, Florida, ensuring top-tier quality. The Series 8 Mark II phono cable set includes a Series 8 Mark II Single-Ended RCA audio cable paired with a 14AWG silver-plated PCCC ground wire. The Series 8 audio cable is crafted with premium linear crystal copper (LC-OFC), developed specifically for audio applications. Tributaries’ LC-OFC is precisely drawn to achieve a low crystal volume per foot, which reduces signal loss and distortion. The conductors, made from multiple solid gauges, are mathematically and tonally selected to support a wide range of frequencies, providing a natural sound.
The Twin-Axial cable design, used in the Series 8, features dedicated conductors for positive and negative signals, with a heavy shield connected only at the source end. This design allows the shield to capture and ground any induced interference, isolating noise from the input stage and ensuring a clear signal transfer with optimal noise rejection, approaching the performance of balanced cables.
The ground wire is terminated with a gold-plated spade lug that fits ground posts up to 4mm in size, further enhancing connectivity. The result is a dead-quiet, neutral-sounding cable that accurately reproduces live music.
The Series 8 Mark II phono cable set is available as an RCA pair plus one ground wire, with lengths ranging from ½ meter to 4 meters, and custom lengths can be accommodated upon request.
