Product Description: 

All Series 6 MkII audio cables are meticulously assembled by hand in Orlando, Florida. The 6P-IEC is a shielded 3-pole grounded power cable engineered with 14AWG conductors that ensure power amplifiers receive ample current without restriction. Designed exclusively for Tributaries by Jay Victor, these cables are optimized for low-frequency 50/60Hz signals, with conductor sizes and gauge combinations specifically selected for this purpose.

The Series 6 MkII cables begin with multi-gauge solid High Conductivity Oxygen-Free Copper (HC-OFC), developed specifically for audio applications. Each conductor is insulated with PVC dielectric material, chosen to isolate vibrations caused by alternating current and prevent them from entering the signal path. To maximize noise reduction, the cable utilizes alternating lays in its twisting process. This method cancels out magnetic fields created by the twisting of insulated conductors, thereby eliminating distortion. The 6P cable is also triple-shielded, providing protection from RF and EMI noise, which results in audible improvements by lowering the noise floor, allowing more information to be heard and seen.

For termination, the Series 6 MkII power cable conductors are prepared by stripping the PE insulation while maintaining the original twist, and then dipped in a high-temperature solder pot. This process bonds the wires into a single conductor, which is then terminated in a lightweight nylon power connector. This construction reduces transmission resistance and improves signal flow.

The Series 6 MkII Power cable is available in lengths of 3 feet, 6 feet, and 9 feet, with custom lengths also available.
