Product Description:
All Series 6 MkII phono cables are meticulously hand-assembled in Orlando, Florida, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship. The Series 6 MkII phono cable set includes a Series 6 MkII Single-Ended RCA audio cable and a ground wire. These cables are constructed using ultra-pure, highly conductive oxygen-free copper (HC-OFC), which is specifically developed for audio applications. Each conductor features dual solid gauge wires, chosen to support a wide range of frequencies, resulting in a natural-sounding cable. The individual insulation of each wire eliminates strand interaction, enhancing overall sound quality.
The Series 6 MkII cables utilize Tributaries' Twin-Axial design, which includes dedicated conductors for the positive and negative signals, along with a heavy shield connected only at the source end. This design allows the shield to capture and ground any interference, isolating noise from the input stage and achieving nearly balanced performance in an unbalanced analog audio system.
The ground wire is a flexible 20AWG stranded wire, terminated with a gold-plated spade lug compatible with ground posts up to 4mm in size. This configuration ensures clear signal transfer with excellent noise rejection.
The Series 6 MkII phono cable set is available as an RCA pair plus one ground wire, with lengths ranging from ½ meter to 4 meters, and custom lengths are available upon request.
