The Series 4 cables utilize ultra-pure, highly conductive oxygen-free copper (HC-OFC), specifically engineered for digital audio applications. To maintain a consistent 75 Ohm impedance, the coaxial Series 4 S/PDIF Digital Audio cable features a 22AWG center conductor surrounded by a perfectly concentric layer of foamed PE dielectric. Dual shielding is employed to effectively block noise from entering the signal path, ensuring a clean and accurate audio transmission.
