{"product_id":"technics-sl-1200gr2-direct-drive-turntable-no-cartridge-open-box","title":"Technics SL-1200GR2 Direct-Drive Turntable; No Cartridge (Open Box)","description":"The Technics SL-1200GR2 direct-drive turntable features a single-rotor coreless motor, electronic switching for 33 1\/3, 45, and 78 RPM, gold-plated phono terminals, and an 11.5-kilogram chassis. Designed to anchor high-fidelity analog playback systems, this deck merges iconic heritage with cutting-edge engineering. At its core sits the proprietary Delta-Sigma Drive, which applies digital pulse-width modulation to eliminate motor harmonics and suppress micro-vibrations during rotation. This design pairs with a multi-stage silent power supply, a damped two-layer aluminum platter lined with deadening rubber, and an S-shaped aluminum tonearm with on-the-fly vertical tracking adjustment.\n\nCritical acclaim earned the deck a spot on the Stereophile Recommended Components list, with reviewers celebrating its rock-solid pitch stability and lifelike musical flow. Reviewers at What Hi-Fi lauded the turntable for its muscular, composed delivery and awarded its build quality five stars. Coverage from outlets like Hi-Fi+ and Hi-Fi News highlights the digital drive architecture for unlocking exceptional low-level detail and dynamic poise from vinyl grooves.\n\nChoosing this turntable delivers uncompromising rotational accuracy and mechanical integrity to your system. By eradicating motor resonance, it lets your cartridge trace recordings with fluid dynamics, pristine clarity, and profound realism. It stands as an essential foundation for any music lover seeking authentic, fatigue-free vinyl playback.","brand":"Technics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":67826925109529,"sku":"97409","price":2124.15,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0844\/4225\/1545\/files\/97409-7.jpg?v=1792182029","url":"https:\/\/tmraudio.com\/products\/technics-sl-1200gr2-direct-drive-turntable-no-cartridge-open-box","provider":"The Music Room","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
