T+A MP 2000 R MKII supports streaming services including Tidal, Qobuz, and Deezer with Roon Ready integration, delivering maximum audio resolutions of PCM up to 32-bit/384 kHz and native DSD up to DSD 512. Designed as a comprehensive digital hub, this multi-source player integrates high-resolution network streaming, a precision CD transport, FM/DAB+ radio, and Bluetooth aptX into a single engineered component. Its architecture features separate conversion paths, utilizing a double differential quadruple converter for PCM data and a proprietary True 1-Bit converter dedicated to DSD signals. Coupled with a double-mono analog output stage, advanced master clocking, and custom DSP oversampling algorithms, it handles digital sources with exceptional fidelity.

Professional reviewers and audiophiles praise this player for its remarkable sonic neutrality, expansive soundstage, and effortless detail retrieval. Consensus highlights its ability to present complex musical passages with natural warmth, vivid transparency, and refined dynamic expression. Reviewers consistently note the rock-solid build quality, flawless disc loading mechanism, and reliable network performance, establishing its reputation as a reference-grade digital front end.
