Since the introduction of the original HD Ground Cables over five years ago, Synergistic Research has made significant advances in cable design, metallurgy, UEF compounds, and high-voltage/high-current conditioning processes—far surpassing what was possible in 2015. These innovations have now been applied to the next-generation HD Ground Cable. Retaining the hand-crafted AirString Geometry, the new design incorporates a single-crystal, six-nines silver conductor in an air dielectric, delivering cleaner highs, enhanced resolution, and a more relaxed presentation. A new UEF Compound paired with a Matrix Shield lowers the noise floor while creating a more holographic soundstage. Additionally, a Three Stage High Voltage conditioning process, developed for the flagship SRX cables, further reduces noise for unprecedented clarity. Together, these enhancements provide a dramatic improvement in performance, resolution, and musicality. When combined with any Ground Block technology, the HDSX Ground Cables elevate every aspect of sound, transforming the listening experience.
