Galileo Lux USB was created with the same guiding philosophy as the entire Lux series: delivering resolution and musicality in effortless balance. USB digital transfer, however, imposes its own demanding requirements for impedance control, timing accuracy, and signal integrity. Because of this, the ribbon-laminate architecture used in the analog Lux cables is not applied here. Instead, we engineered a geometry built specifically for the USB protocol—designed from the ground up to maintain stable impedance, minimize jitter, and support clean, precise digital transitions.
At the core of this architecture, pure 6N silver conductors were chosen for their exceptional conductivity and low energy storage, providing the speed and transparency essential to high-performance digital playback. Surrounding the conductors, a custom-formulated UEF compound interacts with the cable’s electromagnetic field, shaping the conditions through which the signal travels. This tuning influences how microdetail, spatial information, and harmonic nuance emerge once the data stream is reconstructed into music.
The result is a USB cable that embodies the signature Galileo Lux character: effortless detail, a naturally flowing presentation, and a wide, composed soundstage that feels open and beautifully integrated.
