Product Highlights

The Soulnote A-1 (V1) solid-state integrated amplifier delivers 80 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 120 watts into 4 ohms. Designed to anchor purist stereo systems, this Japanese build prioritizes musical energy and transient speed over static bench measurements. It employs a discrete, non-negative feedback topology across both its signal path and fast power supply to preserve natural timing and dynamic nuance. A relay-switched balanced attenuator governs volume with immaculate channel tracking, while direct mechanical grounding drains transformer vibrations through chassis spikes. Analog connectivity includes one balanced XLR input alongside three single-ended RCA inputs linked by contactless internal wiring.

Critical evaluations praise the amplifier for its tube-like midrange warmth, organic tonality, and remarkable rhythmic agility. Publications including The Ear and Home Theater HiFi commend its ability to project a three-dimensional soundstage with uncanny temporal accuracy. Reviewers consistently celebrate its fatigue-free presentation, emphasizing that its uninhibited flow breathes vivid life into acoustic recordings.

Integrating this component allows your system to step aside and let recordings communicate with unfiltered emotional resonance. By bypassing conventional negative feedback in favor of pure signal velocity, it delivers an authentic connection to every performance. It stands as an exceptional choice for listeners who prioritize natural musicality and artisan craftsmanship.
