HT-Air MKII is built into a cast acrylic case that announces its quality at first heft. It’s not heavy for effect, we know that many owners will want to combine it with quality interconnects to obtain the best possible sound, and those cables can, themselves, be weighty. We‘re enthusiasts ourselves, so we designed the extra mass to ensure that choosing the wireless route wouldn’t lead to annoyance. Just one more way we let you know that we “get it”. Finally, we finished it off with 5 coats of hand-applied acrylic lacquer. What, you thought that deep glossy black came about by accident? Quality is in our DNA.

REL HT-Air MKII comes with all the internal programming installed and ready to go because we are not using conventional WI-FI. Our own dedicated protocol allows us to eliminate all the nonsense. HT-Air MKII employs our 3rd generation 5.8 GHz chip, our most advanced single-chip solution. It’s designed to allow continuous real-time streaming of music and movies. Featuring either L-R stereo inputs OR (1) .1/LFE input, the HT-Air MKII is easily capable of sending dynamic, rich-sounding sub-bass signals at least 40’ (12M) and, in ideal cases, even further. Like our more expensive models, it delivers a lightning-fast response of around 17 ms. That speed translates to better sound, greater dynamics, and performance nearing that of high-quality cables.
