Rega ND9 Moving Magnet (MM) Cartridge (Mint)

Rega ND9 MM Cartridge incorporates an ultra-powerful Neodymium N55 magnet, a solid boron cantilever, and a reference-grade fine-line nude diamond stylus. Its lightweight, glass-filled polyphenylene sulphide body houses miniaturized parallel coils wound in-house with ultra-fine wire alongside a perfectly symmetrical generator. Engineered with a rigid three-point mounting platform, this flagship moving-magnet design delivers ultra-low effective mass, minimal inductance, and superior tracking accuracy. The result is an audiophile-grade transducer built to extract micro-groove details with blistering transient speed and expansive channel separation.

Critical acclaim and listener impressions uniformly praise the cartridge for delivering moving-coil refinement paired with moving-magnet punch and simplicity. Reviewers highlight its wide, three-dimensional soundstage, articulate midrange, and deep, tuneful bass. Rather than leaning clinical, the sonic signature is celebrated for its natural warmth, flawless stereo imaging, and rhythmic engagement. Long-term owners consistently commend its steadfast mechanical reliability and forgiving demeanor across varied vinyl pressings.

Reaching genuine high-end resolution without the delicate fragility and specialized gear of low-output cartridges has never been more attainable. By uniting exotic materials with a high-output generator, it effortlessly unlocks the hidden textures, dynamic vitality, and emotional depth embedded across any record collection. For those seeking an immediate leap in analog clarity and effortless musicality, it provides the ultimate centerpiece.
