The Nd3 moving magnet cartridge, developed over a span of 10 years, offers a groundbreaking advancement in moving magnet technology. This innovative cartridge is part of the Nd range (patent pending) and is believed to be the first in the world to utilize ultra-high powered Neodymium magnets, resulting in a truly unique design that promises to elevate performance to the next level.

Advanced Technology

Each Nd3 cartridge is carefully handcrafted by highly skilled technicians, ensuring the highest quality in every unit. It features a high-quality elliptical stylus made from manmade polycrystalline diamond, bonded to a round titanium shank. The cartridge's design incorporates brand new generator geometry with perfect symmetry, allowing for precise channel balance. The Nd3 also boasts an optimized pole gap that enhances linearity and reduces crosstalk, delivering a much wider soundstage compared to previous models. This innovative cartridge is equipped with miniaturized parallel coils, wound in-house with 38-micron wire and precisely 1,275 turns, resulting in a low inductance, low impedance generator that significantly improves high-frequency response. Nd Magnet technology

Glass filled PPS body

The entire assembly of the Nd3 is encased in a precision-engineered injection-molded body made from glass-filled polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), a material known for its lightweight and high rigidity. The low mass of this body minimizes stress on the tonearm bearings, promoting free movement—an essential factor for accurate vinyl playback. Rega rebuild scheme
