PSB Speakers Synchrony T-800 Floorstanding Speakers

PSB Synchrony T800 Floorstanding Speakers feature a frequency response of 21–23,000 Hz (±3 dB) / 24–20,000 Hz (±1.5 dB) with a low-frequency cutoff down to 20 Hz, 89 dB anechoic (91 dB in-room) sensitivity, 20–300 W recommended power, and 4 Ohms nominal impedance. As PSB's flagship three-way tower, the T800 incorporates a 1-inch ferrofluid-damped titanium dome tweeter, a 5.25-inch carbon fiber midrange, and three 8-inch carbon fiber woofers housed in individually tuned, rear-ported chambers. Its heavily braced MDF cabinet includes a decoupled aluminum-clad front baffle, custom port plugs for room tuning, tri-wiring/tri-amping gold-plated binding posts, and integrated IsoAcoustics isolators for superior mechanical decoupling.

Reviews consistently praise the T800 for its expansive soundstage, razor-sharp imaging, and remarkable micro-detail clarity. Audio critics highlight the seamless driver integration and clean crossover execution, noting that the three 8-inch woofers deliver authoritative, deep bass that remains tight and controlled without booming. Critics and users alike commend the smooth, non-fatiguing high frequencies, transparent midrange vocal reproduction, and the acoustic benefit provided by the factory-installed IsoAcoustics decoupling feet.

Integrating the Synchrony T800 into a high-fidelity system grants access to true reference-grade sound reproduction across all musical genres. By combining massive low-frequency reach with nuanced clarity and customizable acoustic adaptability, these loudspeakers serve as the ultimate investment for discerning audiophiles seeking uncompromised, lifelong listening satisfaction.
