Product Highlights

The Parasound JC 2 BP analog preamplifier features dual-mono circuit boards, a direct DC servo-coupled design, six line-level inputs with selectable balanced XLR or unbalanced RCA options, and home theater bypass functionality. Designed by John Curl, this reference-grade component allows seamless integration with surround processors. The dual-mono layout isolates channels to eliminate cross-talk, while premium TKD analog gain controls and Neutrik XLR connectors ensure a clean signal path. As a pure line stage, it focuses entirely on preserving the absolute purity of your audio.

Earning Product of the Year honors from Stereophile and The Absolute Sound, alongside a multi-year Class A Recommended Component rating, this unit is highly decorated. Critics celebrate the preamplifier for its vanishingly low noise floor, which unearths incredible micro-details and acoustic ambiance. It is universally praised for delivering holographic imaging and extreme neutrality. Shunning tone controls, the refined design achieves a completely uncolored, transparent soundstage.

A high-fidelity system demands a central hub that introduces no sonic signature of its own. Integrating this masterfully engineered preamplifier into your playback chain clears the path for your electronics to operate at their absolute peak. It strips away the electronic haze that masks delicate musical textures, providing a transparent window into every performance. For listeners seeking uncompromised analog integrity alongside home theater flexibility, it is an essential foundation.
