Product Highlights

The Parasound Halo A23+ delivers an output wattage of 160 watts per channel into 8 ohms (240 watts into 4 ohms), is bridgeable to 500 watts mono, and features a peak amperage of 45 amps per channel. Co-designed by John Curl, this high-bias Class A/AB stereo amplifier features a dual-mono topology with a 1.1 kVA toroidal transformer. Its direct-coupled signal path runs without capacitors to preserve maximum purity. The rear panel includes balanced XLR and gold-plated RCA inputs with independent gain controls, loop outputs for subwoofers, and auto-turn-on via 12V triggers or audio-sensing.

Reviewers praise this amplifier for its outstanding build quality, precise detail, and incredible value. Critics highlight its neutral, vivid sonic character, noting that it coaxes punchy bass and a rich midrange from any source. Audio publications commend its massive power reserves, which effortlessly handle demanding, low-impedance speakers while maintaining expansive soundstage precision and exceptional dynamic energy.

This amplifier is the ideal upgrade to breathe lifelike realism and authority into your sound system. Whether anchored in a stereo setup or driving front channels in a home theater, its clean current effortlessly manages complex musical passages. Adding this to your audio chain ensures your speakers perform exactly as their designers intended, delivering pristine, dynamic playback every time.
