Product Highlights

Parasound Halo A21: 250 Watts per channel at 8 ohms, 400 Watts at 4 ohms, 750 Watts bridged mono, and 60 Amps peak current. Designed by John Curl, this high-current stereo amplifier features a direct-coupled, discrete topology with high-bias Class A/AB operation. This design delivers pure Class A output up to 8 Watts before transitioning to Class AB, combining midrange sweetness with raw muscle for acoustic peaks. Its massive power supply isolates circuits, serving as a solid foundation for high-end systems.

Earning legendary status on recommended lists for fifteen years, this amp set the benchmark for affordable high-end power. Reviewers from The Absolute Sound and Audioholics praise its detailed yet smooth presentation, avoiding solid-state fatigue. Critics highlight its iron-fisted grip on bass alongside a warm, tube-like midrange. Thanks to its massive power reserve, experts note it easily drives difficult, low-impedance speakers, rivaling much pricier super-amps.

Integrating this component brings an immediate sense of scale and dynamic authority to any setup. It simplifies matching electronics to demanding speaker loads, ensuring loudspeakers always receive a clean, uncompromised signal. For listeners seeking to uncover delicate details and realistic textures without harshness, it provides a balance of rugged reliability and sonic sophistication. It stands as an enduring centerpiece for those wanting to invest in design heritage and elevate their home listening.
