Paradigm Persona SUB Subwoofer

Paradigm Persona SUB Subwoofer specifications include six 8-inch high-excursion X-PAL drivers and an internal Ultra-Class-D amplifier outputting 1,700 watts RMS continuous (3,400 watts dynamic peak power). Built to deliver clean low-frequency performance down to an astonishing 12Hz extension, this reference active subwoofer utilizes a sealed hexagonal vibration-canceling acoustic suspension enclosure. Patented overmolded Active Ridge Technology (ART) surrounds maximize cone excursion for massive output with minimal distortion. Onboard Anthem Room Correction (ARC) with an included calibrated microphone optimizes bass response to match unique room acoustics, while flexible balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs allow simple integration into stereo or multichannel audio setups.

Audio reviewers consistently praise the Persona SUB for delivering visceral, lightning-fast subterranean bass while maintaining remarkable musical speed and transparency. Critics highlight its ability to stay completely resonance-free even during demanding passages, crediting the opposing radial driver layout and inert cabinet structure. Reviewers also laud the ARC room correction software for effortlessly smoothing out room anomalies, ensuring deep, articulate low frequencies that seamlessly integrate with main loudspeakers without boominess or bloat.

High-performance sound systems demand a distortion-free low-end foundation capable of resolving both the subtle acoustic weight of orchestral instruments and dynamic cinematic impacts. Integrating this subwoofer into a listening environment provides the massive power reserves, precise room calibration, and ultra-fast transient response required to reveal the true depth and emotion of any recording.
