Product Highlights

Nordost Valhalla 1 interconnects feature eight 24 AWG solid-core 99.999999% oxygen-free copper conductors plated with 78 microns of extruded silver, high-purity Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene insulation, and precision WBT NextGen RCA or gold-plated XLR terminations. Acting as an uncompromising signal conduit between high-end source gear and amplification, this reference cable preserves fragile audio waveforms with razor-sharp transient precision. The design achieves this velocity through proprietary Micro Mono-Filament technology, helically winding an FEP thread around each conductor to reduce dielectric contact by over 80 percent. This creates a virtual air cushion that drives signal speed to 87 percent the speed of light, while dual-layer silver shielding effectively blocks airborne electrical interference.

Stereophile honored this design as a Class A Recommended Component, celebrating its immense soundstage depth and three-dimensional imaging. The Absolute Sound granted it prestigious Golden Ear and Editors' Choice awards, praising its crystalline clarity and absence of tonal coloration. Reviewers at Hi-Fi+ heralded it as an industry benchmark, noting that it uncovers subtle acoustic cues with effortless dynamic realism.

Integrating these cables into your signal chain removes transient smearing and opens up an expansive acoustic space. By preserving uncompromised waveform purity from end to end, they allow your components to communicate with profound musical authenticity.
