Product Highlights

The Naim NDX 2 network streamer features a proprietary NP800 streaming platform paired with a Burr-Brown PCM1792A DAC chip capable of decoding digital files up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD128. Serving as a versatile high-resolution audio hub, this component processes streams via Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in, Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz, and Roon Ready protocols. Its internal architecture utilizes LVDS signal routing and a low-noise toroidal transformer, while a front-panel 5-inch color display renders album artwork. Four S/PDIF digital inputs and dual USB ports accommodate external digital sources, while modular engineering supports optional power supply upgrades.

Critical reviews praise the streamer for its infectious musicality, weightless dynamic freedom, and rock-solid network stability. Publications like What Hi-Fi? awarded it a full five-star rating, highlighting its expressive midrange, agile bass response, and engaging rhythmic timing. Critics consistently emphasize its transparent presentation, noting that adding an upgraded power supply further elevates soundstage depth, micro-detail, and background noise isolation.

Integrating this streamer into your setup bridges seamless streaming convenience with authentic high-end audio performance. Its engineering ensures every digital file is rendered with physical texture, pristine detail, and emotional intent. It offers music lovers a refined foundation that brings clarity, vitality, and authority to any listening space.
