About Nagaoka GRS-LP10 LP Inner Sleeves
When stored in conventional vinyl record sleeves, records may develop vinyl burn over time or due to storage conditions, causing severe noise. Glassine paper offers excellent moisture resistance, oil resistance, mold resistance, and abrasion resistance, making it ideal for long-term storage of valuable records.
With a flap, these sleeves allow records to be stored cleanly and prevent dust and other particles from entering the sleeve. The opening also features a gusset to help prevent scratches when inserting or removing records. With a focus on quality, every step of production is carried out in Japan.
What is Vinyl Burn?
This is a condition of records said to be caused by plasticizers, additives contained in vinyl. Contact between the vinyl bag and the record causes the surface to turn white and cloudy. Records affected by vinyl burn cannot be played with clear sound, and it cannot be removed by cleaning.
