Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab’s SHINE-OLA optical disc cleaner is a proprietary polycarbonate solution designed to clean digital discs gently, effectively, and without scratching. When used on audio formats such as CDs, SACDs, and DVD-As—as well as video formats like Blu-rays and DVDs—it can noticeably improve both sound and picture quality. Each bottle includes an ultra-soft microfiber cloth to ensure safe, easy application. SHINE-OLA is also long-lasting: a 2 oz. bottle typically cleans around 200 discs, and with careful, single-spray application, it can be stretched to as many as 350 uses.
This highly pure cleaner leaves no residue, does not degrade disc polymers, and is safe for all polycarbonate-based discs. SHINE-OLA removes heat-generated waste molecules left over from the pressing process, helping to prevent laser wandering and maintain optimal playback performance.
