Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab’s PLUS Enzyme Cleaner employs specialized enzymes to clean records more thoroughly than conventional solutions. Once applied, you’ll notice a significantly quieter background, improved dynamics, fuller tonal character, and clean, distortion-free peaks. PLUS uncovers details that were previously buried in the grooves. Why does it work so well? Most substances that degrade sound quality on vinyl—such as oils from skin and hair, perspiration, and tiny dust particles—are organic. These contaminants are drawn to static charges on the record and can settle deep into the grooves. The most effective way to eliminate them is with targeted enzymes. When you spread PLUS Enzyme Cleaner across the record and let it sit for 3–5 minutes, the enzymes dissolve and release these particles. The formula uses highly purified, high–surface tension water that beads on the surface, lifting contaminants and trapping them so they don’t fall back into the grooves.
