Meadowlark Audio Blue Heron Floorstanding Speakers

Meadowlark Audio Blue Heron Mk.1 Floorstanding Speakers feature a frequency response of 30 Hz to 30 kHz within plus or minus 3 dB, a broad frequency range reaching down to a lowest limit of 30 Hz up to 30 kHz, a sensitivity of 90 dB, a recommended amplifier power of 50 to 300 watts per channel, and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. As Meadowlark Audio's iconic flagship, this speaker utilizes a dedicated transmission-line enclosure housing dual composite woofers, an expressive aerogel midrange, and a specialized gold dome tweeter. Designed around a strictly time-aligned sloped baffle and a minimalist first-order crossover isolated within its own internal chamber, the cabinet delivers remarkably uncolored, phase-accurate acoustic output.

Professional reviewers and audiophile owners widely celebrate this model for its warm, transparent, and non-fatiguing presentation, highlighting an extraordinarily natural reproduction of acoustic piano and lifelike vocals. Critical evaluations consistently emphasize the tight, deeply articulate transmission-line bass, open holographic soundstaging, and rapid transient speed that effortlessly reveal subtle musical details. Decades of user acclaim reflect its sterling reputation as a reference-grade performer with exceptional structural integrity, proving that meticulous driver integration and low-resonance construction create an endlessly rewarding listening experience.

Bringing these heirloom towers into a dedicated high-end stereo system bridges the gap between recorded performance and authentic concert hall presence. Their rare ability to deliver expansive dynamics alongside nuanced low-volume detail makes every listening session feel like a private, emotionally captivating event tailored for true music lovers.
