Product Highlights

Tubes included are NOS.

The McIntosh MC275 MKV tube power amplifier delivers 75 watts per channel into 4, 8, or 16 ohms in stereo, or 150 watts in monoblock configuration. Designed to anchor reference-grade listening systems, this component combines classic tube warmth with precise modern engineering. Its circuit architecture features four KT88 power output tubes alongside three 12AX7A and four 12AT7 small-signal tubes, anchored by proprietary Unity Coupled Circuit output transformers that ensure complete power transfer regardless of speaker impedance. The polished stainless steel chassis includes balanced XLR and single-ended RCA inputs plus heavy-duty binding posts.

Critical reviews praise the MC275 MKV for its articulate bass control, expansive holographic soundstage, and extraordinarily natural midrange richness. Industry writers applaud its ability to drive demanding loudspeaker loads effortlessly without introducing thermal compression or high-frequency glare. Widely honored across high-end audio publications, it remains a celebrated benchmark for combining historic tube warmth with exceptional background silence.

Adding this power amplifier to your system creates an unshakeable foundation for pure, emotionally resonant music reproduction. It renders complex orchestral passages and delicate vocal textures with effortless authority and realistic spatial depth. For the dedicated audiophile, it delivers a lifetime of immersive playback wrapped in one of the most iconic designs in high fidelity.
