Product Highlights

The Luxman C-900u solid-state control preamplifier features three balanced XLR inputs, three single-ended RCA inputs, dual balanced and unbalanced outputs, and an 88-step computerized attenuator. Functioning as the core command center for high-end audio systems, it preserves complete signal purity across all line-level sources. It incorporates the proprietary LECUA 1000-WM volume attenuator directly into the gain stage alongside a balanced ODNF 4.0 negative feedback circuit to eliminate distortion. A robust power supply ensures quick dynamic response, while a loopless chassis and cast-iron decoupling feet suppress magnetic interference and mechanical resonance.

Stereophile awarded the unit Class A Recommended Component status and Joint Amplification Component of the Year, praising its crystalline transparency and vanishingly low noise floor. Critical evaluations from The Absolute Sound and Hi-Fi+ celebrate its smooth, grain-free treble alongside an exceptionally deep, three-dimensional soundstage. Reviewers consistently emphasize its ability to untangle intricate orchestral dynamics with total composure while preserving the delicate emotional intimacy of acoustic recordings.

Integrating this control amplifier into your reference rig creates an effortless, uncolored bridge between source components and power amplification. By revealing micro-dynamic nuances without listening fatigue, it brings your favorite recordings to life with breathtaking clarity and harmonic richness.
