Product Highlights

In stellar condition with all original tubes and less than 50 hours of use.

The Lab12 Mighty tube power amplifier delivers 10 watts per channel of pure Class A output in a single-ended design. Designed to drive high-sensitivity loudspeakers with lifelike presence, this component serves as an intimate anchor within a curated stereo system. A front-panel toggle switch selects between Triode mode for harmonic warmth and Ultra-Linear mode for added dynamic grip. The circuit pairs two EL34 power pentodes with dual 6N1P driver triodes, supported by auto-biasing that also accepts KT88 and 6550 tubes. Handcrafted in Greece with custom output transformers, the chassis includes gold-plated RCA inputs alongside 4-ohm and 8-ohm speaker binding posts.

Critical reviews praise the amplifier for its lush midrange intimacy, spacious soundstaging, and grain-free treble presentation. Audiophile publications highlight the versatile dual-mode operation, noting how easily it reveals subtle acoustic cues and realistic instrumental timbre. Reviewers emphasize that its purist Class A presentation outperforms its modest power rating, making it a celebrated overachiever in tube amplification.

Choosing this amplifier means prioritizing tonal texture, organic warmth, and emotional realism over sterile power. Its handcrafted architecture allows acoustic recordings to breathe, creating a deep connection between the performer and your listening space. For listeners seeking artisan tube magic and communicative beauty, it delivers an endlessly rewarding musical experience.
