Its 1" titanium-diaphragm tweeter and 1-3/4" polyimide midrange driver, both with Tractrix® horns, deliver clear, detailed highs and lifelike mids, while the 12" fiber-composite woofer and rear-firing Tractrix port provide punchy, controlled bass. With a frequency response of 48–20,000 Hz (±4 dB) and 99 dB sensitivity, the Heresy IV creates a large, immersive soundstage from a surprisingly compact footprint.
Upgrades over previous models include improved drivers, a refined crossover, and enhanced ported bass for deeper, cleaner low-end without requiring a subwoofer. Its 8-ohm compatibility and 100-watt continuous (400-watt peak) handling make it easy to drive with tube or low-wattage amplifiers.
