Product Highlights

Finish is Gloss Black

Focal Kanta Center Channel Speaker features a frequency response of 55Hz–40kHz (±3dB) extending to a low-frequency point of 50Hz (-6dB), a sensitivity of 91dB, recommended amplifier power of 40–200W, and an impedance of 8 ohms (3.5 ohms minimum). Crafted in France, this high-performance 2-way bass-reflex center speaker delivers crystal-clear dialogue and acoustic detail for home cinema. It pairs a 1-1/16" IAL3 pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeter with dual 6.5" Flax cone midbass drivers outfitted with Tuned Mass Damping (TMD) suspension and Neutral Inductance Circuit (NIC) motors. The enclosure combines a high-density polymer front baffle with a molded wood cabinet and rear Powerflow porting to eliminate diffraction and cabinet resonance.

Critical reviews praise the speaker for its exceptional tonal balance, lifelike vocal realism, and effortless dialogue clarity during complex cinematic scenes. Reviewers emphasize its ability to maintain soundstage precision and low-distortion performance even at high volumes, seamlessly timbre-matching with the rest of the Kanta speaker lineup. Audiophiles highlight its wide high-frequency dispersion and natural, uncolored midrange, noting that vocal details and dynamic soundtracks come through with warmth and dynamic presence.

Integrating this speaker into your multichannel setup anchors the front soundstage with reference-grade precision and cinematic realism. Its seamless driver synergy ensures every whisper and high-impact soundtrack detail delivers pristine clarity across the entire room, making it an essential acoustic upgrade for home theater enthusiasts who demand uncompromising sound fidelity and immersive performance.
