Product Highlights

Comes with 2 sets of replacement earpads:
Dekoni Elite Velour
ZMF Suede

Focal Clear Open-Back Headphones feature a 5 Hz – 28 kHz frequency response, 55 Ohm impedance, 104 dB SPL / 1 mW sensitivity, and 40mm Aluminum/Magnesium 'M'-shaped dome drivers. Handcrafted in France, these open-back circumaural headphones bridge the gap between high-end loudspeakers and personal audio. Utilizing a frameless copper voice coil and micro-perforated ear cushions, they deliver spatial realism, rapid dynamic response, and acoustic transparency. The solid aluminum yoke conforms naturally to the head, while the perforated headband and memory foam earpads distribute weight evenly for effortless, long-term listening sessions.

Audiophile reviewers praise the Focal Clear for its exceptional tonal balance, pristine clarity, and expansive soundstage. Critics highlight its authoritative bass impact, expressive midrange vocals, and detailed treble that avoids harshness. Reviewers frequently compare its resolution to reference loudspeaker setups, commending its ability to reveal fine nuances in complex recordings. Users also applaud its impressive versatility, noting that its low impedance allows it to excel with portable players while scaling dramatically when paired with dedicated desktop headphone amplifiers.

Investing in the Focal Clear provides access to a reference-grade transducer that unites physical luxury with studio-grade sonic fidelity. Whether rediscovering favorite studio tracks or seeking an immersive listening experience unencumbered by room acoustics, this acoustic masterpiece fulfills the highest demands of discerning audio enthusiasts.
