Product Highlights

Esoteric Audio Grandioso K1X SE plays Super Audio CD, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and MQA-CD formats, while supporting digital USB input resolutions up to 768kHz PCM and 22.5MHz DSD. As Esoteric's flagship all-in-one digital player, it centers on the ultra-heavy VRDS-ATLAS transport mechanism, which clamps discs to eliminate rotational vibration. The player incorporates an in-house Master Sound Discrete DAC driven by custom discrete amplifier modules and FPGA processing. Supported by four toroidal power transformers and supercapacitors, its semi-floating top panel and discrete clock generator ensure expansive, effortless playback.

Reviewers and users praise the player for its extraordinary transparency, wide dynamic range, and richly organic sonic presentation. Industry experts consistently note its ability to extract microscopic detail without introducing harshness, giving acoustic instruments and vocals impressive weight and warmth. The VRDS-ATLAS drive earns acclaim for its silent operation and rock-solid reliability, while the proprietary current-transmission output is lauded for delivering exceptional musical drive and stability.

For audio enthusiasts demanding the utmost performance from digital media, this component offers an uncompromising foundation for high-fidelity music playback. Bringing it into a system unveils untapped emotional depth in physical media and digital tracks alike, making every listening session feel like a live performance.
