Product Highlights

The dCS Rossini Master Clock is a Class 1 master clock featuring dual crystal oscillators, 44.1kHz and 48kHz base output frequencies, sub-0.1ppm timing accuracy, three independently buffered 75-ohm BNC outputs, and an aerospace-grade aluminum chassis. Functioning as an external synchronization hub for high-performance digital front ends, this component eliminates timing errors before signal conversion occurs. It utilizes multi-stage power regulation alongside dedicated phase-locked loop circuitry to shield sensitive clock signals from power supply noise and digital interference. Dual-frequency architecture enables seamless automatic switching between sample rate families without manual intervention.

Critical reviews across major audio publications, including Stereophile and Absolute Sound, praise this unit for delivering transformative gains in soundstage focus, low-end authority, and rhythmic cohesion. Reviewers emphasize that adding this external clock unlocks a striking level of acoustic space and micro-dynamic detail, elevating digital playback to analog-like naturalness. Industry experts celebrate its flawless execution, noting that its precise temporal alignment removes subtle digital grain while preserving harmonic integrity.

Integrating this master clock into your system secures complete timing precision across every digital source. It resolves subtle spatial cues and complex musical passages with profound clarity, ensuring your reference front end performs at its absolute peak.
