Product Highlights

The Dan Clark Audio Ether 2 open-back planar magnetic headphone features a custom 71x45mm driver, 16 ohms impedance, and an ultra-lightweight 290-gram chassis constructed from titanium, aluminum, and carbon fiber. Serving as an uncompromising reference monitor for discerning audiophiles, this component delivers astounding clarity paired with exceptional wearing comfort. Its driver utilizes second-generation TrueFlow motor geometry alongside patented V-Planar diaphragm processing to optimize internal airflow and transient speed. An eye-catching spiderweb carbon fiber baffle anchors the driver assembly, while the supple VIVO silver-plated oxygen-free copper cable ensures pristine signal transfer.

Critical reviews praise this flagship planar headphone for its remarkably linear bass response, rich midrange textures, and effortless micro-detail retrieval. Outlets like Headfonics highlight its smooth tonality and wide soundstage, noting that the drastic weight reduction sets a new standard for extended listening sessions. Glowing coverage from publications like Hi-Fi Choice further celebrates its refined high-frequency extension and fatigue-free musicality across complex orchestral works.

Integrating this planar magnetic headphone into your high-fidelity setup unlocks an intimate, uncolored listening experience that reveals every subtle harmonic detail. By pairing whisper-light ergonomics with reference-grade engineering, it allows music to unfold with breathtaking realism and emotional power.
