Drawing inspiration from the Innovation Wood model, the Innovation Compact Wood turntable showcases a high-mass design that centers around its 70mm-thick, dynamically-balanced POM platter, ensuring unrivaled sound quality and stability. Its tri-star chassis, an ingenious blend of bulletproof Panzerholz wood and aluminum, significantly reduces resonance within the audible spectrum while the additional weight enhances overall stability. The design is elevated by Clearaudio's taller version of the patented CMB (Ceramic Magnetic Bearing), which ingeniously magnetically levitates the substantial platter atop an inverted bearing connected to a low-friction ceramic shaft.
This turntable is powered by Clearaudio's bespoke high-torque 24v DC motor, working in harmony with the Optical Speed Control (OSC) system to maintain impeccable speed consistency, further enhanced by the heft of the platter and the efficiency of the CMB system. The Innovation Compact Wood not only comes with a secondary tonearm mount but is also customizable, available in either silver or black aluminum finishes with Natural or Piano Black Lacquer Panzerholz wood accents.
