Product Highlights

Digital Audio Board Upgrade

The Classe Audio CP-800 is a solid-state preamplifier and DAC featuring dual-differential Wolfson WM8741 converters, 24-bit/192kHz resolution, asynchronous USB, and balanced XLR alongside RCA connections. Engineered to anchor reference systems, it unifies sophisticated digital processing with purist analog circuit architecture. A proprietary switch-mode power supply employs Zero Volt Switching and power factor correction to eradicate electrical noise across sensitive signal paths. Onboard 56-bit DSP delivers parametric equalization and bass management, while an analog bypass completely disengages digital clocks for pure source playback.

Critical praise earned the preamplifier a Hi-Fi Choice Product of the Year award alongside an Editors' Choice honor from The Absolute Sound. Reviewers celebrate its towering soundstage dimensionality, explosive transient snap, and unyielding low-end grip that maintains complete authority during complex passages. Audiophile critics in Stereophile and SoundStage praise its remarkably quiet background and spotless transparency, noting how naturally it unearths micro-level detail without fatigue.

Integrating this component into your system unites cutting-edge digital processing with authentic, uncolored analog fidelity. By neutralizing room acoustic anomalies and preserving signal purity, it allows recordings to resonate with breathtaking realism and dynamic impact. It represents a timeless foundation for listeners seeking uncompromised sonic mastery.
