The Sextet Power Block is equipped with six high-performance hospital-grade outlets, designed with advanced materials to ensure reliable electrical contact and integrity over time. Each duplex outlet and its associated filter circuit are isolated to prevent interference between adjacent outlets. The outlets are categorized and labeled as ANALOG, DIGITAL, or HIGH CURRENT for tailored performance.

Two ANALOG outlets are connected to a proprietary filter that enhances analog music reproduction. Utilizing Clarus Core (C-Core) filters, these outlets provide unrestricted dynamics with superb magnetic properties, outperforming other analog audio filters available.

Two DIGITAL outlets feature a specialized filter designed to deliver clean power to digital audio components such as DACs and CD players. The multi-level filtering ensures optimal noise attenuation without compromising dynamics.

Two HIGH-CURRENT outlets are engineered to supply full power to high current components like power amplifiers, powered speakers, and subwoofers, while maintaining dynamic integrity.

C-Core Technology for the Lowest Possible Noise Floor

The Sextet Power Block incorporates proprietary Clarus-Core (C-Core) technology in its analog and digital filters. Crafted from nanocrystalline soft magnetic (ferrite) material, Clarus-Core offers exceptional performance with high saturation magnetic flux density and high permeability, resulting in superior noise suppression across a broad frequency range.

Clarus-Core's near-zero magnetostriction further enhances performance. This property, which causes ferromagnetic materials to change shape or dimensions during magnetization, is minimized in Clarus-Core, thereby reducing audible noise emissions within the audible frequency range. This advanced technology ensures that your AC signal remains silent and clean, outperforming other core materials in maintaining signal purity.

Three Levels of Protection and LED Safety Lights

The Sextet Power Block is equipped with a comprehensive fail-safe system designed to protect your audio equipment. It features a thermal breaker built into the input to guard against overcurrent conditions caused by excessive loads or equipment short circuits. Sophisticated Thermal Metal Oxide Varistors (TMOVs) provide 480 joules of surge suppression, and each TMOV is equipped with an integral temperature sensor that triggers a relay to disconnect power if the TMOV reaches a critical temperature.

If the surge suppression circuit is compromised, the front panel Protection Fault LED will illuminate, indicating that the unit has shut down for safety. Additionally, ground and polarity LEDs show that the power cable and outlet to which the Sextet is connected are properly phased and grounded. This layered protection system ensures your audio equipment is safeguarded against electrical issues.

Sextet Will Not Limit Current

The Sextet Power Block delivers full power without restriction. We recommend using a power cable that will not limit current. The CCP-HC Crimson High Current Power Cable or the CAP-HC Aqua High Current Power Cable are excellent choices. Power cable sold separately.
