Product Description:
The Suzi Amp is an innovative stereo power amplifier built around Chord Electronics’ ULTIMA amplifier topology, delivering 30 W per channel from an exceptionally compact chassis. Designed to partner seamlessly with the Suzi Pre, Hugo 2, or Hugo 2 with 2go, it can form the heart of a high-performance DAC or streaming amplifier system.
Equipped with 4 mm banana loudspeaker outputs, RCA inputs, and a removable solid aluminum cover block, the Suzi Amp allows direct mechanical and electrical integration with the Suzi Pre or Hugo 2 for a clean, unified installation.
When combined with the Hugo 2 DAC and 2go streamer, the Suzi Amp becomes a fully featured streaming amplifier, offering Roon Endpoint and DLNA/UPnP connectivity, along with up to 2 TB of onboard solid-state storage via the 2go’s dual MicroSD slots.
Polychromatic front-panel buttons provide intuitive control of power and AV bypass, while carefully engineered case venting ensures optimal thermal performance. A 12 V DC output enables system integration with other Chord Electronics components, and a headphone pass-through (3.5 mm and 6.35 mm) is active when used with the Suzi Pre or Hugo 2.
